MudGuard contains natural ingredients, which are both effective and gentle on the skin. The two active ingredients are:

Flowers of Sulphur: a bright yellow powder distilled from natural deposits of the mineral. A wellknown homeopathic remedy for skin disorders and is anti-septic and anti-fungal.
Apply to clean dry legs, before turnout. At night resist the temptation to wash your horses legs, put your horse to bed with dirty legs. (Underneath the mud, is a nice greasy barrier, as the mud dries it has nothing to stick to, and the majority will slip off into the bed). The next morning you can turnout without having to re-apply. MudGuard will last 2-3 days dependant on conditions. Can be applied to the infected area of a horse already suffering with mud fever . There is no need to pick off scabs as they will drop off when they soften.
